FAQs
I already run. Why should I pay?
You’ve got the discipline. What you might be missing is:
Structure with purpose — training cycles designed to help you peak, recover, and actually hit your goals (not just log miles)
Accountability to your next level — PR strategy, pace group leadership, and someone checking in when you're coasting
Consistency in all seasons — not just summer hype, but winter momentum, spring breakthroughs, and a full-year plan
A crew that matches your effort — people who show up early, train hard, and care as much as you do
This isn’t just about running.
It’s about surrounding yourself with structure, energy, and coaching that makes you undeniably better — on and off the road.
Is the Summer Training Camp for a specific race or just based on my goals?
The Summer Training Camp is built to challenge you, push you and be a force of transformation.
Whether you want to run your first 5K, build consistency, or prep for a future race, we’ll meet you where you are. You’ll have access to guidance and support no matter your starting point.
What races are we training for during the year?
Summer 5K Race:
📍 August 2025 – Starting at RunCafé (3.1 miles)
Community kickoff race to celebrate your summer progress.
Winter 10K Race:
📍 December 14, 2025 – Liberty State Park (6.2 miles)
This is our community celebration to close the year — and it's a big one!
Spring Half Marathon:
📍 April 2026 – Jersey City Half (13.1 miles)
Our team will build toward this with group training, long runs, and race day prep.
Participation is encouraged, not required — but we train together!
What do the accountability and coaching check-ins include?
You’ll have access to quarterly check-ins via in-person goal-setting sessions or virtual forms where we:
Review your goals
Adjust your training if needed
Celebrate wins and overcome blocks
Our coaching team is here to help keep you aligned and moving forward — not just in running, but in your mindset and routines too.
Are weekly meetups only for members?
Only the Monday and Thursday 6:00 AM Summer Training Camp sessions (June–August) are for Grind Society members.
Our Tuesday, Thursday (evening), and Sunday group runs remain open to the public — everyone is welcome.
However, members receive structured training support, access to all sessions (including the exclusive morning workouts), coaching check-ins, and seasonal accountability tools that go far beyond the meetups.

Is this just for new runners? Or is this the expectation for everyone?
Grind Society is open to all levels.
We welcome first-time runners, returning athletes, and seasoned race vets. The 2025–2026 training is our foundation — everyone who wants to be part of our structured community is encouraged to join.
You don’t have to be fast. You just have to be consistent.
What’s the refund policy?
No refunds once gear is distributed. Membership is non-transferable.
Do I have to attend every meetup?
Nope. But we’ll hold you accountable to show up for yourself.
